BARTENDER (m/f)
📍Location: Libya
Key responsibilities and job description:
- Preparation and serving of drinks: Expertly preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Properly handling inventory of beverages and ingredients, including precise dosing and measuring
- Guest communication: Warmly welcoming and serving guests while providing exceptional service. Offering guidance to guests on beverage selection and house specialties, answering their questions, and fulfilling special requests
- Maintaining work area: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness of the bar and preparation area, including regular cleaning of work surfaces and washing glasses. Efficient organization and storage of inventory, ensuring a neat and functional work space
- Inventory preparation: Regularly checking beverage and ingredient supplies and placing orders for necessary items. Documenting and reporting inventory shortages to superiors
- Management of cash transactions: Accurately keeping track of sales records and processing bills, while handling cash correctly and providing change
- Compliance with laws and regulations: Adhering to legal regulations regarding the sale of alcohol. Discreetly and professionally refusing service to guests who are under the influence of alcohol or not in compliance with the law
- Teamwork: Efficient collaboration with colleagues, kitchen staff, and management to ensure impeccable guest service. Actively participating in training, staff meetings, and other activities that contribute to professional development and team cohesion
- Promotions and events: Participating in the planning and implementation of promotional activities, special events, and themed nights. Presenting new beverages and promotions to guests in an attractive and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to provide top-notch guest service
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a team with a high level of professionalism
- Basic mathematical skills and experience with cash transactions
- Prior experience working in the hospitality industry, in the specified position, for a minimum of 2 years is mandatory
We offer:
- 6-month contract with possibility of extension
- Two-week paid leave during the contract

- Driver responsible for transporting employees to and from accommodation to the workplace
- Working hours: 6 days a week, 8 hours a day

- This position requires flexibility in working hours, including working in the evenings, weekends, and holidays
