General Job Description:

Key Areas of Work and Responsibilities:

Timely and quality execution of job duties
Adherence to all hotel standards, procedures, and codes of conduct
Working cooperatively with colleagues under the orders of the head chef/shift manager
Maintaining hygiene in the workspace and kitchen equipment while following defined cleaning and maintenance procedures
Minding the efficient use of energy, materials, and time; proper and responsible use of kitchen inventory
Applying and following rules related to personal hygiene and behavior of employees and visitors in the kitchen
Receiving goods under supervision and storing them according to established procedures
Following kitchen opening/closing procedures
Maintaining freshness of ingredients and shelf life in storage spaces and refrigeration units in accordance with HACCP standards
Preparing necessary ingredients for meal preparation
Actively participating in food preparation, assisting in preparing dishes to order and menu, as well as serving and arranging meals
Reporting faults and breakages to the sector head immediately
Performing all other duties as assigned by superiors
Behaving in line with company values, setting an example for others

Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

III or IV level of professional education (preferably secondary education in hospitality)
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in similar roles
Teamwork
Responsibility, efficiency, agility, and speed of work
