CIVIL ENGINEER FOR CONTRACT PREPARATION AND IMPLEMENTATION

Job Description: A Construction Engineer for contract preparation and implementation is responsible for coordinating, preparing, negotiating, and implementing contracts in construction projects. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and negotiation abilities with clients, suppliers, and partners. The engineer will be a key point in ensuring that all contracts are executed according to planned schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract preparation:
- Development of technical specifications and analysis needed for contract preparation
- Preparation and review of contractual documentation, including projects, drawings, specifications, and budgets
- Collaboration with the legal team to draft and verify contract terms in accordance with legislation and industry standards
- Negotiation and communication:
- Active participation in negotiations with investors, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Clear and effective communication with all relevant parties about contract terms, deadlines, costs, and other key issues
- Ensuring that all contracts comply with technical requirements and the law
- Contract implementation:
- Monitoring the implementation of contractual obligations during construction works
- Coordination with project implementation teams (construction workers, engineers, subcontractors) to ensure timely and quality completion of works
- Management of resources (materials, workforce, equipment) in accordance with contract conditions and the project
- Timely resolution of problems or disputes that may arise during contract implementation
- Quality and safety control:
- Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with agreed technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Control and supervision of construction works to prevent errors and ensure high quality of completed facilities
- Reporting and administration:
- Regular reporting on project progress and contractual status to management and clients
- Maintenance and archiving of all contracts, amendments, technical and financial reports
- Preparation of final reports and documentation for inspection and verification of work completion
Qualifications:
- University degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar positions in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and technologies
- Ability to understand and apply technical and legal contract specifications
- Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations in the construction industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using computers and software related to the construction industry (AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, etc.)
