ENGINEER FOR CONTRACTS AND TENDERS (m/f)
📍Location: Libya
Job Description:
- We are looking for two engineers specialized in contracts and document control to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract drafting, tender documentation, and document control
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation and Analysis - drafting and reviewing contractual documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and business standards, and managing risks and responsibilities
- Tender Document Preparation - preparing and structuring all necessary documents for tender procedures, including specifications, requirements, and bidding conditions
- Proposal Request Preparation - defining and formulating proposal requests, providing clear and precise guidelines for bidders and managing the entire bidding process
- Client and Supplier Coordination and Communication - managing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and suppliers, coordinating all communication activities, and resolving any discrepancies or issues
- Monitoring and Compliance with all relevant construction regulations and standards - ensuring that all project processes and activities comply with applicable construction legislation and industry standards, including regular reviews
Qualifications:
- Graduate engineer or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in organizational development and contract management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Keen attention to detail - ability to carefully monitor contract plans, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in contract drafting and control, tender documentation, and reports throughout the project duration
- Contract Process Management and Monitoring Skills - experience in planning, resource allocation, and managing procedures within contract and tender documentation
- Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze complex data related to contracts and tender documentation, identify trends, predict potential issues, and propose effective solutions to maintain accuracy and compliance with deadlines and standards
