Excavator Operator (m/f)

Job Description: We are looking for five qualified excavator operators to join our construction team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks such as digging, trenching, and material loading. Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment, compliance with all safety protocols, and maintaining machines in good working condition. Your role will be crucial in the successful completion of construction projects, and you will closely collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals. The position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in different weather conditions. Reading and interpreting site plans and effectively communicating with supervisors and team members. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety are essential for this role. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid excavator operator certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in excavator operation
- Strong understanding of construction processes

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating excavators and other heavy machinery for excavation tasks
- Reading and interpreting site plans
- Safety and efficiency in equipment operation
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on machines
- Compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Effective communication with supervisors and team members
- Assisting in planning and executing construction projects
- Loading and unloading materials as needed
- Monitoring and controlling depth and extent of excavation
- Troubleshooting equipment issues
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed
- Coordinating with other operators and workers on-site
- Monitoring project deadlines and meeting them
- Ensuring work area is clean and safe
- Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions
- Participating in safety meetings and trainings
- Assisting with other construction tasks as needed
- Operating machinery in different weather conditions
- Ensuring compliance with environmental protection regulations
- Providing input for improving operational efficiency
