HOTEL PUBLIC AREA CONTROLLER (m/f)
📍Location: Libya
Job Description:
- Maintaining cleanliness, safety and aesthetic appearance of common areas inside the hotel
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Maintaining cleanliness: Regular monitoring and supervision of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairs, conference rooms, restaurants, and other common areas to ensure they are always clean and tidy
- Staff coordination: Working with the maintenance and cleaning team to ensure all areas are properly cleaned and hygiene standards are respected
- Handling complaints: Prompt response to guest complaints regarding cleanliness or condition of public areas, and taking necessary actions to address them
- Equipment and space inspection: Regular inspections of public areas and equipment to determine their condition and need for maintenance or repair
- Record-keeping and reporting: Keeping records of the condition of public areas, necessary cleanings and maintenance, and preparing reports for management
- Cleaning schedule planning: Developing and implementing cleaning schedules for public areas to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Safety education: Conducting training for staff on safety protocols, proper handling of cleaning materials, and maintaining health protection standards
- Collaboration with other departments: Working with other departments in the hotel such as reception, maintenance, and management to ensure overall operational efficiency
- This position requires good organization, team management skills, and attention to detail to create a pleasant and safe environment for all hotel guests and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality
- High level of attention to detail and thoroughness
- Knowledge of basic hygiene standards
- Reliability and responsibility in job performance
- Knowledge of the English language is desirable
