Job Description:

We are looking for a senior hydro engineer (for internal and external installations) to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for designing within the MEP team in the execution of plumbing and sanitary projects for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial projects of the company.

Responsibilities:

Designing under the guidance of the MEP team leader and internal unit leader and ensuring that the design complies with industry codes and regulations
Creating accurate plumbing and sanitary drawings
Follow schedule and adhere to deadlines set by the MEP team leader and internal unit leader
Collaborate with civil engineers, MEP engineers, architects, and other members of the design team to develop efficient and cost-effective plumbing projects
Ensure that mechanical projects comply with applicable building codes and safety standards
Review and integrate mechanical drawings with other disciplines such as structural, architectural, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
Ensure timely submission of plumbing and sanitary projects to meet project schedules and milestones set by the internal unit leader
Supervise the use of design software (e.g. Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for drawing, etc.) to develop accurate plumbing and sanitary drawings and models
Assist in solving complex design challenges by offering practical and innovative solutions
Knowledge of project standards and codes according to building type and program requirements

Qualifications:

Graduated with a degree in mechanical or civil engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a hydro engineer, designer of residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial projects, and other construction projects

Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with international codes such as: IPC E103 - Pipe Sizing; IPC 4.0 - Fittings, Fittings and Fixture Fittings; IPC 5.0 - Boilers; IPC 6.0 - Plumbing and Distribution; IPC 7.0 - Sanitary Drainage; IPC 9.0 - Vent; IPC 11.0 - Storm Drainage, etc.
Proficient in the use of software used in plumbing and sanitary design such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of international and local mechanical design codes
Able to create comprehensive and detailed working drawings for mechanical plans and details for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial projects, and other construction projects
