Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic property manager to oversee the management and optimization of our construction property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management in the construction industry, a good understanding of project lifecycle management, and a commitment to maximizing property value while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the company's physical property, including heavy machinery, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring optimal use and maintenance
Develop and implement property management strategies that align with organizational goals and project requirements
Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking asset conditions, locations, and maintenance history
Perform regular property reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
Prepare and manage budgets related to property acquisition, maintenance, and disposal
Analyze cost-benefit scenarios for property investment and disposal decisions, providing recommendations to senior management
Oversee the procurement process for new property, ensuring purchases meet project needs and budget constraints
Manage the disposal process of obsolete or underperforming assets, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements
Closely collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and finance to ensure alignment between property needs and project timelines
Provide training and support to staff on proper asset use and maintenance procedures
Generate regular reports on asset performance, utilization rates, and maintenance costs, presenting findings to management
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in property management. Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to enhance property management practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or related field; Master's or professional certification preferred (e.g. PMP, CAPM)
5+ years of experience in property management or a related role in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction equipment, machinery, and asset lifecycle management
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
Proficiency in property management software and the Microsoft Office suite

Skills and Abilities:

Fluent in spoken and written English
Basic knowledge of Arabic language (reading and understanding) would be considered an advantage
