SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (m/f)
Currently we are searching for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Accountant (m/f), to be part of a highly professional team in our headquarters in Podgorica.
In this position, you will be responsible for a portfolio of A-level clients in the field of accounting, payroll, CIT, VAT, and other tax law relevant topics. Furthermore, you will be supporting the accounting team where needed with various accounting tasks.

The company has been awarded multiple times and is officially ranked #1 largest accounting firm in the accounting industry.
Main job description: *
- Building and maintaining business relationships with clients and provide level of service that meet and/or exceed client expectations and actively identifying opportunities to serve clients better
- Accounting of clients’ bank statements; accounting of all types of the acquisition; accounting of all types of sales; accounting in both local and foreign currency
- Reconciliation of internal and clients’ settlements with buyers and suppliers, identification of discrepancies and their posting in accounting
- Following up on incoming payments and optimizing outstanding debt ratio by active communication with clients and internal regular status reports
- Preparation of internal and clients monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting forms and financial reports under the supervision and with the approval of the superior
- Handling the day-to-day operations, assisting clients, and responding to clients’ requests
- Ensuring adherence to IAS, lFRS and local tax and accounting regulation, adherence to internal accounting policies, internal schedules and legal deadlines prescribed by the authorities
*Final JD will depend on the seniority of the selected candidate.
Job requirements:
- A solid background in accounting
- Graduated from the Faculty of Economics/MBA
- Proven experience in accounting, payroll and other necessary administrative tasks
- High ethical standards, communicative, organized, ambitious & precise
- Solid knowledge in English, written as well verbally
- A certified accounting license is strongly preferred
