Job Description:

Plays a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accommodation units

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks:

Staff Supervision and Management: Managing a team of housekeepers, including training new employees, assigning work schedules, and micro-management of daily activities
Quality Control: Regularly inspecting rooms after cleaning to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborating with reception, maintenance, and other relevant departments to ensure guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner
Inventory Management: Monitoring consumables such as cleaning supplies - achieve optimal stock levels
Complaint Resolution: Quickly and efficiently addressing guest complaints related to cleanliness or other aspects of accommodation
Planning and Organization: Developing and implementing cleaning procedures, including regular and thorough cleaning, depending on the hotel's needs
Hygiene Education: Educating staff on proper cleaning techniques and hygiene standards, as well as on the application of safety measures
Reporting: Creating reports on cleanliness status, maintenance needs, and other relevant information for hotel management
This job requires good organization, communication skills, and team management abilities to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
