Tipper truck driver (m/f)
📍Location: Libya
Department – Heavy Machinery Department
Job Description: We are looking for four professional tipper drivers to transport dirt, debris, salt, asphalt, etc. to various construction sites in all weather conditions. The driver will perform daily truck inspections, complete logs, and maintain a clean truck. The driver will carry out all work in accordance with policies, procedures, and programs. Occasional overtime work. The driver conducts daily pre/post-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and checks for damaged parts. The driver drives the tipper to the destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area, pulls levers or turns handles to tilt the body and dump the cargo from the truck.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid tipper driving license
- Minimum of 3 years experience in tipper driving
- Strong understanding of construction processes

- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Working hours: Full-time
Report to: Head of technical department
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport crushed stone, sand, debris, salt, crushed concrete, rubble, asphalt to and from specified locations. Check the types of materials being transported and ensure they do not exceed weight limits
- Ensure that materials are loaded properly on the tipper
- Inspect the tipper before and after each trip or as required by management, which includes checking oil, gas, and water levels, as well as lights and tires
- Report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management and/or the appropriate authority
- Maintain, cleanliness, and repairs of the truck in accordance with the guidelines stated in the truck driver's manual
- Regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedules are being monitored and all traffic or site condition problems are immediately reported
- Maintain accurate driver records
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as needed
