Reports to: Head Waiter

General Job Description:

Prepares restaurant/bar for service, serves guests with food and beverages, maintains hygiene of their work area and work equipment, executes tasks delegated by their supervisor and collaborates with colleagues in the execution of all operations involving food and beverage service

Key Areas of Work and Responsibilities:

Timely and quality execution of tasks and duties within their area of work
Material and financial responsibility in the workplace
Adherence to all prescribed work procedures, business standards, and behavioral rules
Preparation of work area and equipment and care for restaurant inventory
Knowledge of all menu items, food, and beverage list; checking daily specials, menu, and drink list
Greeting and seating guests
Offering recommendations and suggestions to guests in choosing drinks and food
Taking food and beverage orders and serving guests
Charging guests for the services provided according to hotel payment policy and prices
Bidding farewell to guests
Cleaning and arranging their work area and equipment after guests leave
Personal hygiene and pleasant appearance maintenance
Friendly and polite behavior towards guests
Applying safety measures in the workplace
Accountable for the quality of service provided
Ensuring compliance with health and sanitary standards
Rational use of energy, materials, and time
Collaborating with colleagues
Performing operations for banquets, events, and ceremonies
Carrying out duties delegated by the head waiter and restaurant manager

Work Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Provided:

Round-trip plane tickets (from home country to Libya and back)
Health insurance during stay in Libya, in accordance with Libyan laws

Monthly salary is paid at the end of the month to the candidate's personal account
Contract is signed for 6 months, with the possibility of extension
