WAITER (m/f)
📍Location: Libya
Job Description:
Preparing the restaurant/bar for service, serving guests food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness of work space and equipment, executing tasks delegated by superiors and coordinating with colleagues in the execution of all food and beverage service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and quality execution of tasks within designated work area
- Material and financial responsibility in the workplace
- Adherence to all prescribed work procedures, business standards, and code of conduct
- Preparing work space and equipment for operation and caring for restaurant inventory
- Possessing knowledge of all menu items, food, and beverage list; checking daily specials, menu, and drink list
- Greeting and seating guests
- Providing recommendations and suggestions to guests in selecting beverages and food
- Taking food and beverage orders and serving guests
- Collecting payment for services provided to guests in accordance with hotel payment policy and prices
- Bidding farewell to guests
- Cleaning and organizing work space and equipment after guests leave
- Personal hygiene and neat appearance
- Being courteous and polite to guests
- Applying safety and health measures at work
- Being accountable for the quality of service provided
- Observing health and sanitation standards
- Efficient use of energy, materials, and time
- Collaborating with colleagues
- Performing operations for banquets, events, and ceremonies
- Carrying out duties delegated by head waiter and restaurant manager
Work Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in similar positions
- Dedication to guests and high-quality service
- Computer literacy
- Excellent command of English language in speech and writing
We Offer:
- 6-month contract with possibility of extension
- Two-week paid leave during contract

- Driver responsible for transportation of employees from accommodation to workplace and back
- Working hours: 6 days a week, 8 hours a day

- This position requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
