Handling all kinds of food processing and preparation of simple meals, arranging meals, assisting in serving. Following the instructions of superiors, arranging meals and assisting in serving food at the buffet/a la carte or via delivery/catering,...

Key job areas and responsibilities:

Timely and quality completion of job duties
Compliance with all hotel standards, procedures, and rules of conduct
Working in coordination with colleagues under the orders of the kitchen chef/shift leader
Maintaining cleanliness of the work area and kitchen equipment while following defined cleaning and maintenance procedures
Ensuring rational use of energy, consumables, and time; proper and responsible use of kitchen inventory
Applying and respecting rules related to personal hygiene and behavior of employees and visitors in the kitchen
Receiving goods under supervision and storing them according to established procedures
Following kitchen opening/closing procedures
Maintaining freshness of food and expiry dates in storage areas and refrigeration units in accordance with HACCP standards
Preparing necessary ingredients for meal preparation
Actively participating in food preparation, assisting in preparing ordered dishes and menu items, as well as in serving and arranging dishes
Reporting faults and breakages to the department head immediately
Performing all other tasks as assigned by superiors
Behavior in line with company values, representing a role model for others

Required education, experience, skills, and abilities:

III or IV level of professional education (preferably secondary education in the hospitality industry)
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in similar positions
Teamwork
Responsibility, efficiency, dexterity, and speed of work
