Job description:
- Knowledge of European and Mediterranean cuisine
- Preparation of meals and arrangement of dishes, attractive presentation
- Knowledge of new trends in gastronomy
- Creativity and participation in creating new menu items
- Planning procurement and keeping records
- Control of prepared meals, in accordance with specified standards and norms
- Providing meals for hotel staff
- Maintaining high sanitary and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment, dishes, and inventory in accordance with hotel norms
- Follows orders to meet guest demands
- Accountable to the Manager for their work
- In addition to the duties listed in the job description, the employee undertakes to perform other tasks and activities that are in accordance with the regulations and standards of their profession, within the scope of work
Skills and qualifications required:
- Experience in similar positions
- Ability to work in a dynamic and team environment
- Good communication skills and courteous approach to guests
- High attention to detail and thoroughness
- Reliability and responsibility in performing tasks
- Knowledge of English language, but not a requirement
